Vijay’s expertise lies in identifying opportunities to save costs; optimize resources; reduce lead time to market (B2C & B2B); align demand with supply and re-engineering logistics and supply chain business processes. Vijay gained experience in IT, Electronics, 3PL, Consulting, Education, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, and Resources Industries. He strongly believes in team work and collaboration and known as change agent and implemented several continuous improvement projects using change process and six sigma DMAIC project management methodology.

Gijs is a Supply Chain Professional with over 15 years of C-level and 26 years of international experience in delivering value chain optimization in Supply Chain, Procurement and IT; across FMCG manufacturing, retail and healthcare. Gijs commenced his career in robotics and flexible manufacturing, progressing to supply chain consulting with two of the Big 4 consultancies, in Europe and Australasia. After moving to New Zealand in 1995, he transferred into the corporate environment.

Gijs expertise lies in domestic and international Supply Chain strategy development and execution; supply chain process transformation & change leadership and transformation; service and total cost of logistics turnaround; Sales & Operations Planning and Advanced Planning & Optimisation; implementation of continuous improvement and ‘lean’ logistics; planning and governance; strategic vendor management; selection and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning, Advanced Planning & Optimisation and Supply Chain Execution systems including IT governance, establishing effective consumer response system.

Mr. Chhura is a dynamic and results oriented general management & operations global executive with broad operations, integrated supply chain and commercial experience in the western world as well as in emerging countries like China and India. A natural change agent providing digital leadership, armed with 25+ years of hands on global experience with market leaders like IBM, Lenovo, Apple, Philips and Flex.

Mr Chhura has strong expertise in establishing and operating green field entities with demonstrated tangible results in the areas of high volume order fulfilment centres, complex distribution networks, manufacturing and procurement centralization. Core competency includes but not limited to ‘all miles’ of supply chain, fulfilment, procurement, reengineering distribution networks, outsourcing, global business services (GBS), acquisition and post-merger integration, optimising inventory, costs and serviceability.
